The Fun We've Had Over 30 Wild Boomer Women gathered to watch as our very own Carmanlita demonstrate the "toys" and gadgets and teaching us some great tips. The laughter continued all evening. "This is a great group of women. Sue is really helping to connect others together to find the "girlfriend network" we all need! Pat A great Italian restaurant - we sat outdoors and got to know each other. There were many new members and we laughed our heads off, two more earning their tiaras. "It was really fun. All the women were great. I look forward to more fun meetings to come!!!" Rene Jane taught us the basics of Tantra, a philosophy that teaches you to become conscious of everything you do, whether it is moving, listening or lovemaking. We had a great time drinking wine and munching on goodies. "I had a great time! This is a very fun group of ladies!!!" Laura SEX & THE CITY - A FOUR PART EVENT! Part I – We met for lunch and got to know each other. Part II – At the movies – we took up two full rows in the theatre.
Part III – Off to a wine bar for munchies and cocktails, just like Carie, Samantha, Charlotte & Miranda.
Part IV – Out to two different dancing establishments – what a day and night. “Great time, fun people, nice to meet new faces and to share stories. The movie was great too." Linda. 70's PARTY - RAVEN'S FLASHBACK BIRTHDAY BASH When Raven throws a party, everyone who is anyone is there. And this event didn’t disappoint – there were several hundred people at the Wrigley Mansion all decked out in their favorite 70’s garb, dancing to great 70’s disco music. Don’t we look great? "I had a great time, fun with you gals, and if you haven't heard by now, I won the raffle. That made it all worth it. They auctioned off the firemen's T-shirts, so I gave back some of the money. It was for a good cause, of course, and they weren't bad to look at either." Linda POLE DANCING AND LAP DANCING CLASS What a great class to learn how to shake your moneymaker. "I was a little nervous at first.... but I had fun and enjoyed meeting the group." Shenece MAKEUP LESSONS Professional makeup artists did an excellent job instructing us on the best makeup and application for each of us. There was wine and munchies and we had a great time. “I have never had my makeup done. It was a great experience to learn the best ways to apply makeup to bring out my features. I looked and felt beautiful." Carolyn DINNER AT CEZAR'S AND RAVEN'S FRIDAY NIGHT RENDEZVOUS We met for dinner, then over to Raven’s party where there was a huge turnout. "The dinner and meeting were very enjoyable. Lots of fun. Raven's Renezvous was crowded and the music was good. Looking forward to more meetings and I really enjoy the other members." Dottie
GREAT MEMORIES I'm floating down the Salt River with seven other women and having the best day. On the shore there are beautiful wild horses and blue herons surrounded by mountains. It is so peaceful. We are munching on sandwiches, talking and laughing like girlfriends do. Half of the women are new to the group that morning. The other half have been to one or two events in the past month or so since they joined the group - but we are so comfortable it's like we've know each other for years. It's 6:30 PM on a Friday and 20 women have joined me to learn how to pole dance. We are laughing so hard our cheeks hurt while we cheer each other on with our moves. Most of these women have joined the group for the first time. We do our introductions, and then go to the poles to dance. Ninety minutes later, we've bonded over common issues and an exciting activity that we had only heard about. This is typical of the events with Wild Boomer Women. The ideas for these events come from the Bucket Lists that the members have created. They are doing the things they have always wanted to do. We hope you will join us at an event soon.
